How Jenna Dewan Tatum Gets Her Daughter to Sleep via The BUMP
So what’s Tatum’s trick for keeping Everly sound asleep?
It’s an oil diffuser.
“I blend lavender, peppermint and lemon together, which is really good—one, because it’s calming—but it also purifies the air. I think she sleeps 11 hours, so I don’t know, maybe I have the secret,” Tatum tells Women’s Health.
While there’s plenty of humidifiers and white noise machines designed specifically for the sake of soothing kids to sleep, a diffuser is some out-of-the-box thinking. Tatum says she also uses essential oils in her bedtime routine with Everly.
“I’ll make a little smiley face on her belly with a lavender oil roller before bed,” she says.
Add it to the list of routines to help your kid sleep better.
